The Matriarch of our family and kennel, Int. Ch. La Traviata-Julia-von Himmelstor or better known as "Daisy" suddenly passed away on the morning of 14 February 2010. This was a very bad day for me as she was my "first-ever" dachshund. I still remember her when I first spotted her at the Himmelstor Kennels, a bundle of fur with a big heart. Daisy was also my very, very special friend that no matter how bad of a day you had would always meet you at the door with a bunch of kisses. Daisy, I will dearly miss you my old friend.  Daisy 14 October 1998 - 14 February 2010.

Well today I put the first pictures of Lulu and her two silver dapple girls. That's them on the home page and uncle Snickers is in the back peeking around to see what was going on. Olivia and her boy are doing great. He has his eyes open now and walks around the kennel. I will post pictures of him in the next few weeks.

will post them here on this page. If you don't want the picture posted just let us know ahead of time; but we would
still love to see how our guys and gals are doing. I will also post unusual or funny pictures of other dachshunds or
other breeds as well so long as they are tasteful.
